Default Fish Meal / pogie meal secret

Anyone out there willing to share their secret recipe for mixing the fish meal for cast netting. I've heard some say mix it with flour, some say corn meal. This is my first time trying it on my own....thanks

Or you can get a couple cans of dollar store dog food, pop some holes in it. Tie a rope to it with a weight and throw it close to where you going the cast net.

I mix with flour. I have no exact measurements. Mix them the day before you plan on using it. I put in the fish meal put some water till it gets A about like peanut butter maybe a lil more watered down. Then mix the flour in untill it gets stiff enough to roll into balls a lil bigger than golf balls. Put them outside to dry in the sun. Watch where u put them cause dogs, coons, possums will eat them. When you throw them out let sit for about 10 15 mins to start casting.

Flour and water but just ad water and mix add as needed until you get to consistancy of bread dough. I add rocks to put a little weight in it.
