12-21 Sweetlake back in action!
Well it was definately the end of the world today......for these birds! The day started off right with the very first bird of the day I had me some jewelry! After a patient wait and many birds not wanting it, we got what we came for. All I can think is that they wanted it to warm up a little. Around 9 the specks couldn't resist coming in like show hounds. A single, then 4 out of a group of 5, then another easy single and we were packing up. Also today was my friend TJ's very first waterfowl hunt. Needless to say he is hooked! Great morning in the blind with the cold weather.
