Ruger LCR .38 SPecial for Wife

Opinions please... I'm about to buy this in .357 mag and load it with federal hydra shok JHP or Hornady critical defense in .38 Special for the lady to have on her night stand and for CC.

Am I doing the right thing as far as knock down power and handling?

I'm not going semi auto, have a few right now and she hates the complexity and how prone they are to user error, and I agree.

.357 is hard to find in those. I say plenty power and good for a lady. Just squeeze and fire , don't even have to mess with a hammer.

I have the Ruger LCR in 38. An awesome revolver and easily concealed. I would recommend this revolver to anyone.
