Default Costa delmar repair?

Anyone ever sent any back to be fixed? I've got two pair that need a little work done and was just wondering if their prices are reasonable. One pair needs new rubber on the ear pieces and maybe a new lense if that isn't to spendy. The other set needs new nose pieces and maybe new lenses.

Don't waste your time on the lenses. They wanted over 100 to replace the lenses on my fathoms. But I hear its only 20-30 for frames and stuff like that.

Holy crap! Never thought it would be that much. Might just have to get the nose/earpieces fixed. The main set I wear the most only has one little tick mark on the. From when they fell off my head into the gravel. Doesn't bother me enough to warrant $100. Thanks for the info guys

Just looked on eBay and I think I'm just going to keep an eye out for a used pair with jacked up lenses and buy them just for the earpieces. Tiny chip in the lense doesn't bother me much but the screwed up rubber on the earpiece pinches the crap out of my ear at times

My buddies dog chewed up the rubber on his. He sent then off and they sent him a brand new pair. All he had to pay was shipping.

I am thinking of sending mine in this month. They pieces that go over the ears are getting really loose and wobble. I tried to tighten thw screw with no luck.

Hope this helps you make your decision!

I just got back my Zane 580's that fell off my hat and cracked the left lens, sent them off on a Thursday got them back the next Friday, in the repair they said there was also a defect in the rubber nose pads they sent me a brand new pair for $11.95. Not to bad, same thing happened to a pair of fathom 420's I cracked the lens and they charged me $60 for a brand new pair, guess it all depends on what they find and who processes the repair

Unless the lens is damaged, they usually don't charge for repairs.I sent then a 4 year old pair of Fathoms because the rubber on the temples deteriorated over time. They sent me a new pair, no charge, stating they saw a defect in the color of the lens (which I had no problem with) so they were just going to send me a new pair. That's the best service I've received from a company in a while.

I had a broken hinge, sent them in and for around $50 or so they sent brand new ones back... The ones I sent in were several years old and discontinued, so I was able to select a new style...

I sent mine in through ship to shore with broken frames and all I had to pay was shipping ($16) and I got a brand new pair ... I also sent my wife's off through ship to shore with a cracked lens and it was $60, hers are the glass 400 lenses

Ship to shore was great I would definitely use them again

I have had costas since 2006. I have a pair of fathoms that have had, ear pieces replaced(rubber wore out)main frame replaced (crack formed on nosepiece)and lenses replaced(coating was peeling)All I paid was shipping.

I have 3 other pair that have had work done also.... If its a manufacture defect or a piece wears out, I have never paid for a repair.

Now I severely scratched a few lenses; those I paid for.
Can't remember the amount ; but it was way less then a new pair.

I give them a 10/10 on customer service!!

For those with rubber on the arms, I was told it was sunscreen that affected the rubber. Don't know if true or not.

They told me sunscreen will soak in the rubber and cause the glue to fail & discolor the rubber.
Also hanging ur costas on the rear view mirror can hurt the interior of the lense.... Exterior was made to stand up to the sun... Interior was not.

That's why they come in a case....
