Default Batteries

I'm having to buy two batteries for my boat here shortly. If my memory serves me correct I remember a thread on here about somebody could get or knew where to get batteries at a reasonable price. It might have even been agm batteries. Any info would be appreciated.

I have 4 of the biggest Energizer deep cycle batteries you can get at SAMs. They are 4 years old and still run as if brand new. Paid $80 for each.

I've always liked stowaways from academy but i think they are now exide batteries? My uncle uses the everstart marine batteries from walmart and has had good luck. Its hard to go wrong. Just keep it topped off

I currently have a set of Big Mommas, going on two years....

Also had Mommas in my bay boat and a bass boat before that without any complaints... We ran Interstates in the mud and airboats on the lease with good luck. They all seem to last about three years then slowly craeter. I pull regular maintenance on them and charge after each use...

I would really like to try the Optimas and dump some weight but the reviews are too mixed ...

When I bought my boat in 2011 it had energizer deep cycle battery's and I'm about to have to replace them. The boat is an 07 and they were probably the original batteries judging from the date codes

I have Stowaways in my boat from 2007. They are still working great. You can get them at Academy under the new name Exide.
