Read in this month's La. Sportsman that LDWF are contemplating changing back to "doe days" instead of a limit of three does taken whenever.
But, in looking at the schedules for the different areas, it appears they are not proposing any specific doe days for areas 1,2,3. What gives? |

From what I read, they are throwing some new areas in to the mix and the new areas will be the ones with doe days. Not state wide. That's how I understood it.

Thought I read somewhere that this was to limit the does killed because the numbers are down. Supposed to be temporary

Yes, they are saying that doe days in these proposed areas will reduce the doe harvest by 50%. Go to the WL&F site and read the info there. Also have proposed map of areas.
