Default Easter Sunday quickie

Oldest daughter and went back to the deep marsh for one last go of it this am. Still and foggy meant gnats out in force but we were well-equipped. Just two spots and she got the biggest on a deadly Dudley bay chovey. But the rod did snap the rod when she reeled it in too far and lifted it up. Oh well.

Great quick trip, 9 on topwater and 2 on plastic plus 2 rats reds before going to look for gators at 8:45. Happy Easter to allImageUploadedByTapatalk 21364748117.163131.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk 21364748135.562695.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk 21364748157.274997.jpg

Great report....... This is what it's about when you bring your kids... I saw a report on here the other day. Where a guy said his son asked him to take him fishing. And on the report he post pictures of himself with all the fish and not one of his son.
when I take my daughter fishing I will never reel a fish in

Let me know when you get a chance to come this way. Just remember, all I can guaranty is time on the water, not fish. LOL

Sum 25 years ago I can diffently remember my son and I making those miserable mornings out fishing. He never complained even when we crossed from Houssin bay back to Pirates cove just ahead of a good northern. It semms like yesterday I remember him quoting his grandpa: Stretch it out I'm getting wet! Those are memories u never forget . Keep their interest in the outdoors as long as u can.
