Great Day in Dularge 4-6-13
Day 2 with BISSO Marine had us catching specks!! After Chef Rickie Daigle fattened everyone up last night with Ribeyes, seafood stuffed potato's, corn on the cob, and strawberry shortcake most were off to bed after a few cold beverages!! Woke up to breakfast cooking then we headed out around 6:30am. No rush as the trout were waiting for us!! The trout were hungry and they were hitting our Matrix Shads and Blue Tiger HLT Swimmer Jrs as soon as the baits hit the water. When the bite slowed we were on the move. Our next stop had trout up to 19 inches hitting the ice in the big Yeti. Our bite played out so we were on the move again. Next stop did not take long and the specks were coming in from every direction around the boat but played out quickly. A couple more stops with a few fish at every stop. At 11:30 my guys were ready to head back to the lodge for Chef Rickies seafood gumbo, potato salad, and apple pie. What a incredible two days to say the least. Finest lodging in Dularge at The Reel In Lodge, amazing cooking, great fishing and company, it just doesn't get any better. Big thanks to Roy Buchler and Eric Hellbach with BISSO Marine for putting everything together. Special thanks to Capt Travis Miller for running the second boat and Chef Rickie Daigle for the amazing cooking. It's all good Down in Dularge. Looking forward to doing it all over again in two weeks!!! Thanks again everyone involved in making the weekend a success. Capt. Marty LaCoste 985-856-4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
