Default Lacassine 4-14-12

Me and BigChaf hit Lacassine late morning looking to rip some lips. We were able to catch about 10 if you include the dinks. Still looks amazing out there. Noticed some growth in vegetation and lillies since last time I was out there.

Watermelon with red flake is the color, mainly flukes. Having success in areas with lilly pads but also with undergrowth. Didnt catch with lilypads with a bare bottom.

Any pointers on where to look for bream? Are they on the flats or in the canals/boat runs. Looking to bring the family soon.

Best place ive fished so far was the canal that leads to south rollers when it opens up north and south start fishing and they are just about anywhere you can throw it

Me and a buddy went out there yesterday.. I was in a silver Tundra and we were running a 15 foot alweld with at 25 tohatsu

We caught a couple small ones.. right at sunset I missed a big big fish on a worm.. We were snaking them across lily pads and got a huge blowup
