Cheers Trout Fishing off the charts 4-24-13

It was great having Huey Beason back on board today. Huey brought Randall Jones, and Jim Losee with us to bust up the trout. We departed from The Reel Inn Lodge just before daybreak. It sure was nice to get a calm morning without the winds blowing 20 mph. The lake was nice and calm and the trout were in a frenzy chasing shrimp out the water. The bite was hot and we got on them fast n furiously. Everyone in the boat was slinging two fish at a time in for a good ten minute stretch. Nice fish today up to 17 inches. Double rigged Avocado Matrix Shad tight-lined slowly continues to be the best bait day in and day out. The Endura shrimp has been the best baits under corks. Unreal how many fish you can catch on a Endura shrimp as the baits are almost indestructible. The damage was done by 9:00 am and we were headed back to the Lodge to beat the weather and clean fish. Thanks again guys, I really enjoyed fishing with you.
