Default Grand Isle 4/26-4/28

Went down for the weekend with a couple of guys. Got down there Friday afternoon put the boat in the water in Fourchon cause that's where the camp was fished till dark just picked up a couple here and there. Ran out to casse tete found pretty water but only picked up a couple of fish. Sat morning decided to head east so launched out of sand dollar on the island. Fished lower barataria and caminada bays ended up with 39 and a good bit of throw backs.

Fished morning and afternoon with a break for lunch and a snoball when the tide stopped.

This morning no wind pulled up to first spot and start picking up fish, then the dolphins showed up. We must have lost 10-15 fish today to dolphins. Made a move and got on some decent action but a lot smaller fish with more than half throwbacks. Ended at 11 with 28 when the tide stopped moving to clean fish and the camp.

All fish this weekend caught on avocado and pink champagne matrix shad, avocado bayou chubs, and clear/red flake tko shrimp. One of my friends bought some voodoo skrimps but the tkos out fished em probably 10 to 1 so they didn't get used anymore.
