I was heading out to a saints game one day. Found a wallet at the gas pump In Lafayette on my way out. Used my phone to track the guy down, he lived south of franklin. I drove 90 instead of 10 so I could drop it off to him. He had over $500 in cash in it. Got to his house and didn't so much as thank me. He snatched it out of my hand and made sure his cash was still in it and walked off. What an a$$

I lost mine in the marsh west of FWC on horseback... I was pretty aggravated looking at all the marsh grass and knowing I wouldn't find it..... On the way in it was sitting on the ridge we rode out on.....

I found a fat wallet one day on the top of a gas pump.
I didn't even look inside and turned it in to the gas station attendant. I was curious so I stopped back the next day to see if the owner had come back. The attendant told me the guy came back about an hour after I had turned it in and there was $2500 in that wallet. I'm glad he got his money back, you really shouldn't carry that much cash in your wallet. People have been murdered for lots less. |

My wife went to McDonalds once and found a purse in the bathroom. She brought it back to the table and her and her sister started going through it. Found a name for a person from Grand Isle. Tracked the lady down, called her on her cell phone. My wifes sister drove down Hwy. 90 and met her in Des Allemands to give her purse back. The lady told my sister that she had $4,500 cash in her purse and was on her way to catch a plane to go on vacation. She offered my Sister In Law and wife the use of one her rental camps and to take them charter fishing but my wife didn't take them up on the offer. She also offered my sister in law some cash but she refused that as well.
