Default Shrimp in lake

Fished this past weekend and not much shrimp. Made a scout trip this afternoon and it was chock a block. Shrimp boat mid lake.. Game on

Is that the island across [Southwest] from Calcasieu Pt landing?

A few years back, I talked to a guy that managed that property for deer hunting.

No it's the old camp on east bank. Saw another on south bank few hundred yards east of rock pile

Has anyone seen any hogs [4 legged kind] around Big Lake? There use to be some down around the washout area before Rita.
