Default v.b. 6/20

My son Kyle and I headed out to the pernt early this mernin. Weathermen kinda missed it again. Arrived at the landing and was greeted with a nice thunderstorm. Waited that out then took off. Not too bad till we got into the gulf. Big ole ground swells. Treked out slowly to a few wells and platforms. Then more thunderstorms started popping up everywhere. Dodged a few of those and then the tide finally slacked off so we headed in before the next thunderstorm could cut us off at the pass. Ended up with 11 nice trout caught on plastics. I was gonna post pics, but had to run to the shop when we got back from fishing, and by the time I returned home, Kylo had the fish already cleaned. I likes that!!!! Water was dirty in the cove and cleaned up nice around dry reef. Water clarity was ok right outside the pass, but it was very salty!!
