Default Need 2" Receiver Mounted on Front of Vehicle

Tired of choosing either boat or bikes and looking to hav 2" receiver hitch mounted on front so I can mount receiver based bike rack on the front of a 2007 Honda pilot so we can pull the boat and bring the bikes.

Any ideas on where in the greater Baton Rouge area I can get this done? I'll be swinging by LC and Sulphur also this month, so a good place there would work also.

Corey, you know anywhere in Gonzales?

We've done 1 or 2 bikes in the boat on occasion, but it takes a lot of fiddling: old towels and tie downs to prevent motion and damage. The hitch mounted bike rack holds 4 mountain bikes and they load and unload very quickly.

google "front mounted receiver hitch" produced a bunch of results for under $200 bolt on hitches. Perfect for light duty like carrying bikes. I wouldn't use it for a receiver hitch mounted winch though.

edit: after further review they would work for winches also. After all, bumpers like ARB, Road Armor, etc are all just bolted on also.

Thanks guys. I had not thought this would be a common accessory.

We've often got other stuff riding on top in a roof carrier, but the space up front is available, and our existing bike rack is super easy to use. The front receiver hitch also opens up the possibility of other receiver hitch accessories up front.

Just seeing this thread. I don't personally know much about them but, I can check more into it if the answers you've received aren't to your satisfaction. Looks like some of the guys found some good leads though.

Let me know if you need help with any installation.

Thanks. I'm still on the fence between mail order and local. I'd probably save a few bucks mail order, but I prefer spending $ at the local shops and it's a good chance to get to know where the local quality is when it comes time for more important trailer work/issues.

I can likely order one for you. Normally, I can beat mail order prices too.
