It's not the power it makes it's the extra weight on the back. Transfer some weight to the front of the boat and you should be fine.

I know my 15' marshrunner with a hopped up 40 isn't the same animal. But, trim tabs helped me a lot when I went from a 25 to a 40. Don't matter if I'm cruising at 35 or running wot at 52, it will lay down and run for me.

Yea that's what I hear. Never had before but a lot of people talk good about em. Do you have the fixed kind are the electric adjustable one's?

Mine are now fixed/adjustable. Did have the shocks on them. One went bad so I tried stainless turnbuckles in place of the shocks and like it more.
