Default Exide gel batteries for trolling motor???

Anyone had experience with Exide gel batteries from Academy for trolling motors?? Or should I go with big Mamma's??

For the price of the exide's you might as well go with optima.

they are on sale for $100.00 almost half price, that is why I am wondering if they are any good??

Oh ok....never used either one so I can't say. If you have the money go with optima. I have fished 3 days before without charing them.

That's a great deal, and yes I have a total of eight between diff. Boats my oldest lasted rite @ 7 years before croaking! Been using them since 04 love em!
Paid exactly $100 a piece for my first 2 in 2004 , the last 2 I purchased were 179.99 4 years ago.
