I have this one in my boat. Waterproof up to 6' If it goes overboard, it floats light pointing up so you can find it easier.

I have had this light for 25+ years and it has been with me on 250+ trips. When the light bulb quit working, I replaced it with a car headlight. This light bulb gives off plenty of light to spot stump, logs, alligators, etc. at 100+ yards away. . |

I have this one http://www.optronicsinc.com/spotlights3-new.html and made a custom mounting bracket I also cut the alligator clips off and made a 12v plug .
The blue light is way easier on the eyes at night not causing night/light blindness . |

Mike where did you get that thing? Or did you have to order it? I think I'm gonna mount that bad boy on the t top and then grab that Stanley for "horizontal scanning"

If your gonna go rechargeable handheld this is the way to go. It's not waterproof, it doesn't float, but it has a 560 lumen output for hours on end. I have two that we use for frogging. We'll go multiple trips before charging them. There are some improvements that could be made in the durability of them, but they work awesome. Great light for only $60.
