Default Monkey bars

I been fishing cocodrie a lot this year. Found some good spots scouted around a lot. People keep telling me about a place called the monkey bars. Everyone I talk to has a different description of what and where it is. Anybody in here wanna help me find this place? Lat/long? General area? What to look for?

Can't help you with monkey bars...

Rookie fisher here, and been fishing Cocodrie this summer too.

Been staying at Coco Marina, kinda looking for a camp to rent, or something different anyway. Where you been staying? (if you have been staying)

I live in Prairieville also.

I drive from Prairieville to coco
Marina. Leave about 3am. I'd love to get a camp just to offset the cost of gas for dragging a boat 120 miles every 2 weeks. Plus I have to keep my boat in baton rouge at my shop. Also a pain in balls.

The monkey bars are about 2 miles from the east point of wine island. I find they produce the most fish early to mid summer. Also if you are in the area check out the platforms in the area also. 29° 05.382’ N. Latitude ~ 090° 37.338’W. Lon. Use caution when approaching they are a group of sand bars that are covered in water at high tide. You can see the waves breaking over them. This time of year you should be scouting further north. The lake bare area would be a good place to start.

I fished that spot the last 3 trips I went. Didn't even know I was on it. All the phony descriptions and locations from old timers threw me. I fished the gulf side of the circular rock line. Is that the same place?
