Outboard Repair Blues

Another month has gone by that my boat has been in the shop, this makes 4 months and counting. Wishing I had put a brand new motor instead of rebuilding! One thing is for sure, I'll WILL DEFINITELY find another shop for any other repair needed in the future!!

Give it up man, what's the shop?

I run two outboards on my boat and just drop off the motor when one needs repair. That way I can still fish, just more slow out there.

I hear ya. My boat been in shop for 3 months now. Should be complete this week and will find out if they fixed the problem this time or not.

It could be worse... I got a friend whose cat has been in the shop over a year getting the motors replaced...Needless to say he's not too happy

pm me i can hook you up wth the nicest, most honest boat mechanic . he will tell you whats wrong and fix it if its fixable. he wont just blow smoke up yer arse
