Made a quick hunt yesterday afternoon after the hangover wore off from the night before. After a little come to Jesus meeting with my dog (after he jumped in pond and flushing ducks out), we made our way to the secret spot. Found 'em there as usual and 3 up and 3 down. Making the way back to the wheeler found a little obama squirrel munching on an acorn. #6 steel dumped him, or so I thought. Drake (chocolate lab) latched on to him and he latched onto Drake. After a quick "fight, Drake had him slung out of life. First black squirrel ever. Brought him back to the house to skin him out and get him on the tanning boards.
