I hired a guy who gave me the best price. He seemed to know his stuff and he had a wet saw and all the other tools so I said why not. He goes to start and I noticed he isn't using spacers or popping lines; he's eyeing it!! (240 sq foot room) He laid out the first row and I whipped out my bore sighter laser light and showed him how he was off. He said no biggie and kept laying. I should have pulled the plug then. When the 1/4" spaces turned into 1" spaces I told him to pull it up. Scrapping thinset is no fun so get a guy who is reputable.

I found a good guy who did a damn good job but I'm not sure if he will to go LC (337) 739-2647

Ole boys second try. You can see the 1" gaps in the middle row and his crooked columns.

The guy who is doing it now.

That sucks. Why wouldn't he use spacers? They cost like $3 for a 100 of them.

He had a bag of them. My guess is that he was too lazy.

Dad has the tools however I'm running out of time and working on it at nights only would take a while. I used a weeks vacation this week and it seemd like I've taken 4 steps forward and 5 steps backwards!
