Default Trout - Big Lake

Where are all the trout at Lake Calcasieu? It seems like every fishing report has reds and flounder but no trout. It just seems like the trout fishing has been really spotty.

Are they biting in turners like they usually are? I don't really know the lake real well, but I've caught there many times. I'd like to catch some more specs before the bite ends completely

It's been a surprise how quick people find away to make the journey. I fished yesterday from 12:30 afternoon till around3:00 believe me I will go back again this week before the weekend. Best suggestion :fish very slow retrieve no matter what u use.Had to laugh at sum people tryn to wade. The closest I got without tryn to mess with someone else's fishn was150 yard's.I stayed in one area as much as I could and action was steady. As I said I'm gonna go again real soon.
