Cheers Winter Time Knowledge 12-30-13

Brad Foret was back with me today, his son Gavin also joined us. Brad wanted to learn winter time techniques and some locations to increase his knowledge of the area and his catch's. What a perfect day for him and his son. Our first location produced a easy limit of trout. Brad was a natural, and had no problem learning the technique of hooking fish. Brad had the fish coming in one after another. Even 11 yr old Gavin caught the most fish he has ever caught in a single trip. After we finished our limit, I gave Brad a tour showing him around the area to increase his knowledge on winter time areas. We decided we would go catch red fish, but it started raining on our way and Brad decided we should head in. We called it a day and headed to the Lodge to clean fish. Thanks Brad for the repeat business, look forward to our next trip. Water temp today was 52 degrees, fish were caught in 3-5ft depths, slow steady retrieve, falling tide, all fish caught on Green Hornet Matrix Shad.

Tight lines. Happy New Year everyone
