crabs don't last long frozen in my opinion.....I'd make a pot of stew with them ..... they get old they get stringy to me....make crab and shrimp stew and put a lil zatarains crab boil after the roux is finish and you'll have the flavor without most of the heat....then she'll get 2 fer 1........

I've done it before, not a good as fresh but if it's all you have they aren't bad.

Don't boil them for more than a couple minutes.
They not going to be terrible. |

Defrost and pout them on the BBQ pit. Tonys and a small amount off jack millers --good stuff

I second this idea. I had live crabs thrown on the pit a while back and they taste just like boiled and the meat will stay firm. Excellent way to do crabs if you don't want to bother with boiling.

Well the finished product was ok. The meat wasn't mushy but was very dry. I'll try the BBQ the next time.
