Reds Galore & 2# Trout! 2-5-14

Kenny LaCroix and Brad Norman from Alexandria were back with me today. We jumped in the Gator Tail at the Lodge and headed out at day break. As soon as we pulled up to the 'hot spot' Brads drag was screaming. In no time Kenny and I hooked up also. We put six reds and one nice 2 pound trout in the K2 and lost four more reds before moving to the 'honey hole'. It was game on with multiple double hook ups, as the reds were stacked up and hungry!! Spartacus Vortex, Green Hornet Matrix, and Pink Champagne Matrix put a hurt on the fish (as they do everyday). All fish caught in 1-3 ft of water with a slow retrieve. The guys had a blast catching and releasing before we called it a day. Thanks again guys for another incredible trip.
