Cheers Post Front Trout 2-27-14

Jason Chiasson and I battled the Du today. We were greeted with cold windy conditions and low water!! Found clean water at our first stop and on the second cast had the drag screaming on the Shimano!! A nice battle for Jason which ended with a nice red for the pit!! Moved around with no other bites. We kept moving around and found more clear water. It wasn't long before the sweet sound of yellow mouths shaking their heads on the surface greeted us!!! Some nice specks today up to 19 inchs. They were hitting the Matrix Shad in Green Hornet and Tiger bait and swallowing them deep!!! Slow retrieve in 2-4 ft depths today. Good luck out there!
