Default Mardi Gras Day Sunshine(Eggs that is)

Well, it's a shame but it looks like a nasty, cold and wet Mardi Gras Day today. No way I'm going out in that drizzly weather! It is(or it was!)however pretty sunny here in the house this morning.
I went to check on the chickens and put something to block the wind and rain against the pen and realized I hadn't come out and picked up the eggs from yesterday. There were fourteen beauties in the nest and a hen looking like she wanted to lay one soon. I grabbed them and immediately started thinking about sunny side up eggs for breakfast.
Three seemed like a good number for me.

Mmmmmm......... delicious warm egg yolk on buttered toast!

Not such a terrible Mardi Gras morning for me!!!
