Need recommendations for aluminum patio covers in Lake Charles.

T & L Aluminum, they used to sell an insulated aluminum cover, really helped with the heat and sound from the rain

Check into a misting system for the top. Lowers the temps underneath by 10 - 15 degrees

I added I misting system to my patio and it makes a HUGE difference

If there's a way to swing it, I'd go with wood. I know it can be a pain to tie into existing structure and, costs a little more but, I do not miss my alum. patio cover. Man, if it sprinkled, it was loud as heck and, when the acorns started falling, it'd yank you out of a coma!
