I enjoy doing maintenance on my outboard, as long as it's not too complicated! LOL I have a 2008 V-Max 250 HPDI
My 2 brothers do the same. They both have Yamaha's as well on their bay & offshore rigs.
I was thinking about buying the Yamaha program to run on my laptop to do diagnostic checks on out engines as well as log the maintenance done. It's not cheap but split 3 ways is very affordable.

What do you guys think?

yep, I say its worth it just for yourself much less split 3 ways.

why pay someone super high rates to do something you can do yourself and this program will let you have the tools you need.
