Default Nautic Star 2110 Owners

Looking for reviews from owners of Nautic Star 2110. I am looking at a 2006 model with yamaha 150 F4. Please post or pm me with your input on this boat.

Thanks for the help!

I fish out of friends boat a lot and it's a solid boat. Rides good and gets up fine with a 150

I've got a 07 2110 tunnel that I've recently picked up. The boat seems to fish well. It is well laid out and good quality for the money. In my research(and I've done a lot) there have been people with porpoising issues, myself included. Because of the shorter length and narrower beam the boat seems to be more prone to it because of most weight in the aft of the boat. Make sure you open her up and see how well you can trim her out before the bouncing takes hold. That hull and engine compbo seems to have no problem getting in into the high 40's low 50's. If you have any specific questions regarding wiring and such shoot me a message or ask it here. I've come to know Malcom(nautic star tech rep) pretty good with all my calls.

One final point. Understand that the boat will have a slightly rougher ride because of the narrow shorter hull and it seems that although it takes chop well while fishing it does tend to move around side to side. It all boils down to the hull being smaller. Good value per dollar boat though. I would say if the engine is in good shape go for it.

i had a 08 2110 with a 200 hpdi. it was one of the best boats i've owned. i especially liked the layout with the jump seats and the lock boxes. i never had any issues with it. ran fine and took a chop. dry riding. no porpoising issues. i didn't have trim tabs.

dmtfish has one. Been in it a few times.... great boat! cruises around 40mph with the 150 yam 4stroke. Pretty impressed with the boat. Very smooth ride.

Well the price was great, boat was clean, and it had some nice accessories. I got halfway to the dealership when the sales guy contacted me to let me know someone had put a deposit down on the boat. The good deals go fast. Oh well back to the classifieds

I've had mine right at a year and am pleased with the performance. I did quite a bit of research and have been in several different bay boats, and could not pass on the value (got it with a yam + nautic star dealer discount)... I have the 2110 SE with a 150, some say its too slow but i am fine with cruising at 40. Boat tops out at 50 trimmed up with a couple people and ice chest on board. The boat is well laid out and has a nice finish. The only complaint I have with the boat is cosmetic, ie.. the vinyl has some pink mold spots which suck on a new boat. I contacted Jerry's and the vinyl is covered so will be getting that replaced with no questions asked.

Mine had the porpoise issue. Tried everything and couldn't shake it. Ended up selling. Layout is awesome but if it's rough this boat is not dry. Blazer 2020 much drier. 150 yam is not enough for 2110. 200hp min.

Thanks guys for the info. I will be looking next year to upgrade my 20' tidewater. She is very dry and I also had the pink spots which was replaced under warranty but I need something bigger and faster.
