Default Hwy 1 roadside

Got down to Fourchon around 630 this afternoon. My buddies were off in the boat, so I decided to hit a few roadside spots to kill time. Not much tide moving, saw lots of bait. Caught 1 slot red. Talked to a guy that had caught a bunch of trout a couple days ago, but nothing today. He was fishing with minnows. Red was caught slow bumping a LSU Dudley terror tail. Also got potlicked in another spot. Car comes rolling by, slams on their brakes and cuts a u turn. Dude and his wife come throw their popping corks right where I'm fishing lol. Not bad for an hour of fishing. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1398475542.249252.jpg

You must be eating well tonight, great catch. I am heading further up Lake Laurier where it meets with Wilkenson Bayou tomorrow morning. I am hoping the water is still clear.

Good luck this weekend.
