Default There's still some monsters out there!!

My cousin was bow fishing last night at Toledo Bend. Supposedly in about 8ft of water they spotted this big nasty and he jumped in after it. It took three of em to get it to the bank and then into the boat. He didn't give me any dimensions but told me it weighed in at 103 pounds. Yea that's awesome. I'd donate it to the zoo or something where I could see it regularly

I caught a few when I was a kid. As rare as they are getting I'd let it go. It would make me happier to know it was out there hopefully making more than in a pot.

looks like a really old snapper. cool catch. Don't think my initial reaction to seeing something that big would be to jump in the water and wrestle it to the bank tho.... beast mode catch

Never heard the weight correlate to the age. Who came up with that? I mean do they only put on a pound a year?
