Cheers Kids & Catching!! 5-4-14

Good times today having Sonny Lovell, Kay, Jackson (9yrs), and Abby (6yrs) Nelson back onboard. Our plan A didn't work out so plan B was put into effect. We found some nice trout over the reefs and the kids put some nice ones in the K2. After the trout bite slowed down we went to plan C. Shrimp under a cork. Game on as everyone in the boat had bent rods!! Reds and puppy drum finished filling the K2 up to the top. Green Hornet Matrix tight lined caught all of our trout today. It was great to see the excitement in the kids faces reeling in all the fish, they did great. Thanks Sonny for the continued business.

Cast and retrieve. Throw your bait out and reel it in with a slow steady retrieve keeping your line tight (no slack so you can feel the bite).
