Default Grand Isle 5/18

More of the same from yesterday, fished out east for the majority of it though because the water in the marsh was really muddy and didn't have luck there the day before (midday on incoming and got worse on outgoing, looked like steak and mushroom gravy...). Picked up about 8 trout total, a flounder, and got into some 27-30" reds real thick in the spot we caught at the day before. The day before they were all 22" or so, but today we had fun catching and releasing 15 or more - we kept our 2 boat/6 man limit.

I had a customer from Australia in for the trip, and his first red was over 27" AND had a spot that resembled Louisiana on it. A coworker of mine was also with me from north of Seattle WA (pictured below trying to shake off the night before on the dock at Sand Dollar) - I couldn't get on the trout, but had a blast showing them around and watching their faces as they fought those reds on my light tackle!
