anybody know if they sell crickets and worms at crooked creek or chicot state park? or should i get some crickets before i head that way?

No crickets at Chicot park. Can get them at Industrial Supply or the gas station between there and the park if you're coming from VP. Not sure about crooked creek.

If your coming from the south there alittle gas station in eunice on 13 as well headed north just pass colburns

coming from lafayette, I assume your driving I 49? if so, the little gas station where you turn left off 106 - headed to the chicot entrance - sells crickets, worms and shiners.
