Dude, buy some peanuts in Texas and boil them. I'd have brought you some home last weekend if I thought about it. That's what you get for not riding with me, punk.

either way....may have a hard time finding some already boiled ones since its thanksgiving....I could go get all the sacks you want of raw ones but Its pretty late in the season, and they are probably a little dry.....We have 30-50 lbs of frozen peanuts that are already boiled....I could really use the space for deer meat.

There is a big place called Becknels in Belle Chase, South of NOLA.
They have fresh citrus, maters, smoked boudin and boiled peanuts.
Right on Hwy. 23.

Checkin' in for the first time since getting to New Orleans. I always stop at Becnel's on the way home from Empire. My dad went to school with all 99 Becnels.

I'll try to find some on the way home tomorrow 007.

Get off on HWY 30 in Gonzales. That's the Cabela's exit. I am pretty sure that you can find boiled peanuts at any of the gas stations right at the exit. There is a Shell station that would be to your right(if you get off coming from NOLA)l. They always have them there. Stop by Cabela's while your there. They supposedly have some big sales going on throughout the weekend.

What a freakin' wild goose chase. Stopped 4 times and nothing. Took me 9 hours to make a 5 and a half hour trip. Freakin' worst drivers I've ever seen today. I don't spend a lot of time busting on my native state, but HOLY FREAKIN' COW! Please explain to me why you're driving 70 for 2-3 minutes and then everything STOPS for 5 minutes, then you get back to 70 again with no accident or anything going on. I felt like I was on a bungee cord. I've never come so close to having road rage before today. The all time moron of the day award goes to the driver of a white Chevy truck with Southern U. flags flying. You are a parasite that lives on the flea that lives on the arse of a dead and decaying camel. I witnessed you almost cause 2 accidents cutting people off and I saw you throw your Popeye's carton out the window. You are a turd. I gotta relax after all that.

LOL...I had the same experience with bad drivers coming home from the Texarkana area. Amazingly, the idiotic driving really didn't start until we got within 70 miles of Houston and the "Left Lane for Passing Only" signs stopped. When the hell are they going to put the signs up in the Houston area so the idiots that don't know the law will get a clue?

Ahh, the joys of long driving trips.
