Default Big Lake tidal patterns

Since im still learning the area, can csomeone explain the tide situation there? What I mean is, when the tide reports from Cameron say outgoing tide, people have said that can be an hour delayed in the lake. However, people seem to have 10 different things to say that contradict what the tide buoys report.
Water moving out of spicer's marina area also does not seem to agree with the tide reports either.
Is there another more accurate way to plan on tides in big lake and black lake area, and what is the typical movement of fish during each tidal pattern?

I use Tide App on my iPhone and find it to be pretty close. It will vibe you the closest station. However, the most useful tidal data I found at big lake is the Wells fishing forcast. Buy an issue of Gulfcoat Fisherman and they will have 3 months of reports in there. It gives you the time that the tide hits .3 knots, the duration, and direction. There is an offset for each specific area so be sure to add or subtract. You can set your watch by the Wells.

I have a hard time also. So, I stuck a PVC pipe in the water with black markings every 3 inches. When I see the water level begin to change I lower my boat out of the lift and go fish.
