Can Anybody tell me what kind of bug this is? Finding them randomly around the yard, never seen them before maybe two years ago!!😬

Man them things been in my garden for years.....When it gets cool this time of year they hit the citrus. Its all I can do to spray the whole yard to control them. When they hatch they got like a gazillion of them in tomaters n cukes.......

Its a milkweed assassin bug (Zelus longipides). They prey on a lot of the insects you don't want around your garden (flies, mosquitoes, caterpillars, etc).

I hope you rite dude cause they always all over my tomaters cukes and fruits......In late summer they just cant be controlled.......

Well I just looked them up and they seem to be a good bug........I'll give them a year to prove themselves but I be watch'n close...........ha ha ha ha ha..............

They are always all over my parent's plants, too, but I don't think they've ever done anything. They will bite the fire out of you though. My dad got "stung" by one once.
