Beautiful out there for sure, very slow weekend for me though. Couple on Friday morning and a couple more today. Water was very low with the new moon falling tides and north winds pushing it out.

They still haven't moved in like at this time last year.

Default Too late

Guess I was too late. Got to cove about 4 hooked one on about my 10th cast lost it at boat. Never had another bite. Wind got worse every minute left around 6 only saw about 5-6 fish caught and none was after 4:45. I was in a 16 ft aluminum so my options were limited in that wind.

Saturday was super slow for me. Stayed inside the bay....didn't get out there till noon and the tide was 3 foot low. Launched at patout and almost got stuck on a mud flat. Caught 4 keeper reds,6 trout, and a flounder. Only bait I could get bit on was a 4" storm swimbait.

I wasn't in the bay last year, so I couldn't tell you. We made the run early Sunday am outside of the pass to the reefs. We caught a four trout on shrimp. Ran all the way to Tiger Shoal and only caught one on artificial. Came back inside when the tide was already too low, and we only caught two reds. They may not be on inside like they were last year, but yesterday they weren't on outside either.

7 Fri, 9 Sat & 2 Sun. Did not fight the crowds or get live bait as I'm just too hardheaded
