1/29 lake arthur

Fished from 3:45 to 5:00 managed 2 keepers and 3 throw backs. Lost about a 45lb catfish snapped my bucco rod in half on its second run from the boat never thought I would ever hook something that big on plastic.

Nice one. What was the water temp? Was the river flowing ? I been wanting to go do some sacaulait fishing on the river. And run some jugs.

Have no idea on water temp. River isn't flowing hard rite now. Have been hearing of a few people starting to catch some sacalit. I will start setting some jugs in a week or so its getting to be that time again.

Thanks for the info. If you see a blue alumacraft with a 50 yamaha and crappie stickers on it stop and say hi. I fish the river and laccassine alot.

Flipping a watermelon pacacraw I didn't get a weight on the it I figured it was in the 4 to 5 pound range it was 20 inches long
