![]() I noticed last spring the same thing. They wouldn't touch a soft plastic bait. But I kept seeing that anytime a bream would swim anywhere near the bed those bass would take off after it aggressively. I think I'm going to go get a bream imitation hard bait and see what they do with it. You can barely see the outline of the fish just above that twigs tip. |

Thanks. I'll try that. I didn't have any craw type baits. Just lizards and brush hogs.

make sure your line is not knicked and knot is good and tight. I lost a 9+ on toledo due to line failure.

Sometimes itll take an hr or more to make one bed fish bite... and sometimes they arent ready. Go back the next day and bam first cast.

not a secret any more, been going there cause it is close to the house, been seeing more and more people showing up, and the more people that show up the more trash gets left behind, its a shame how quick one little spot can be ruined so quickly

I worked on a 6 pounder in cooper field for over a hr the other day. When she finally hit I set hook and broke her off. Still trying to get my hook back.

Big bite baits make some great bream baits to throw at beds. Rojas useed them on toledo bend.
