Hi Guys,
I recently signed up to the site and have enjoied all the information.
I am fairly new to saltwater fishing and I am absolutely hooked on it. Once you tie on to a big red....the bass fishing is over.
I mainly fish out of the Slidell area and would love to learn more about the adjacent areas. We have also fished out of Hopedale as well.
My daughter is coming in for the Christmas Holidays and she wants me to take her out while she is in. We will be fishing out of a ZX20 Skeeter so the waters may have to be somewhat protected. Any suggestions where to take her so she can hook up with some reds?

I don't know what the reds are doing now over there, but when I lived in Slidell I used to fish out of Breton Sound Marina and I would go to Lena Lagoon and do well. Just go north up the MRGO about 1/4 mile and you will see the entrance to Lena. Lots of broken marsh back there.
