Have had it for 5 years no problem. Now all of a sudden when try to play cd it loses power for 2 seconds and on and off repeats itself.. Tuner works ok with radio volume low til try and turn up louder and it too causes radio to flicker at 2 second intervals. Any suggestions????? |

most things like that are due to corrosion on the circuitry so open it up and spray it good with wd40 and it "might" solve the issue but I don't think there is much else you can do other then replace it.

Would it happen to be powered off trolling or other battery that is drained. Sounds like weak battery but I'm sure you've covered that end....

You did pretty good.
I have had mine for 3 years and it switches stations when it wants. |

If you have a fuse holder check it for corrosion. If it is wired straight to a fuse block, then forget about what I said. Mine had a spring in the holder that was corroded and it was doing the same thing. Took it apart and stretched the spring and it played again, with no stuttering. Of course if you are listening to Mel Tillis, then that might be your problem.

On my new boat I didn't put a radio in it. I'm just using a wireless Bluetooth speaker alone with my smart phone. I use Pandora or I Heart Radio. At least with I heart I can get local stations.
