Default Ever Done Something This Stupid?

This is so embarassing I almost didn't post it but figured y'all could at least laugh at me.lol
Yesterday evening I'm getting the boat ready to go fishing today. Just making sure everything is there and in place. When I opened the live well to put the plug in that's when I found out I didn't catch 121 bream last weekend I had caught 123. How the hell I left two fish in the live well is beyond me but I paid for it when I opened that lid. Thank God for bleach.

When I was in college, a friend of mine (shaw) left his livewell full of trout/reds because he got home late and had to leave for his hitch early the next morning. Needless to say, he gave me a call to go clean it out 3 days later. It was around this time of year. Took me fishing without paying for gas for the next several trips.

Have done it, but with a different twist, was short on what I thought was a limit of doves. Found the remaining one when I put my hunting vest on after several days.

Left a trout under a seat once in the boat. Went looking around when something started to smell.

To hear my really dumb stories, one has to show up in person.

Back in the 80s three of us often drove from Lafayette to fish Rockefeller and the Cameron jetties. One Sunday one of the guys brought a non-fisherman friend who unasked brought a package of frozen squid. Guy who drove had a nice Pontiac Grand Prix. Somehow the squid ended up under a bunch of stuff in the trunk. I never laughed so hard as when I got the phone call describing the "discovery". Smell lasted for a long time.

When I was 10 or so I would fish all day long in the bayou behind my house. One day, not having a container to put some shrimp in I decided to put it in my pocket.

Well a few days later my mother is washing clothes and couldn't figure out why the entire batch smelled. So she washed it a few more times.

As you could guess I had forgot some shrimp in my pocket and it got ran through the washer.
