Day two with Claude and Carson Sims from Texas started out with some real bad storms and lighting strikes all around us at the lodge. We held tight and waited for the weather to pass. With the wind up, we decided to head North to catch bass and Reds. In no time the green trout were hitting the K2! Carson has always wanted to know what it would be like to fight a alligator!! Lol, well he found out today. About a 4ft alligator decided to hit his worm he was throwing, and this got knocked off his bucket list!! I kept looking at the winds and storms around and noticed everything looked calm. The guys wanted to try to catch some more trout, so the Bluewave was pointed Southbound!! Pleasant surprise as the seas were pretty calm. It didn't take long for our double rigged Matrix Shad to start producing trout!!! Silver started going on top of the green in the K2!! Carson also really wanted to catch a shark, no problem. The Sharks have been very bad while trout fishing. It didn't take long and Carson was hooked up with a 4ft Bull shark. After about a 45 min fight he got his shark and another bucket list wish!! We got some good picture and the shark was released. Not one drop of rain all day after all that horrible weather. Thanks again for another memorable day!
Thanks Capt RD Dupont for running the second boat.
