I would stay away from sea fox. Never had one but have heard bad things.

Sportsman Bay boats. Check out the Tournament 214 SBX. NICE!
The Sea Hunts are really nice too. |

I picked up a used BlueWave purebay 24ft/250 yamadog 4, 2 years ago for $40K with alum trailer/101 troll motor/ basic garmin FF/GPS 2 years old and 800hrs on motor. I really like it and I am hypercritical of boat builds. Don't be afraid of a well maintained used boat.

I really like the fit and finish of these boats and the prices are very reasonable considering.

I can't speak for the others, but the 22' Nautic Star doesn't ride as well as you'd expect from some others.

I would pick the sea hunt bx22 or bx24 if those three brands were my choices

Ive been in a few nautic stars and they are very nice boats, the decks dont creek w a big boy on em like alot of other boats do. Only problem i have with them is the room to walk around the center console. its pretty tight for me.

I personally own a Blazer Bay and love it. My son has a Nautic star 22 with a 250 Yamaha and it's ok. I think my boat rides much better and is a better built boat. All that said if I was going out today to buy a new boat I would absolutely get a 24' Bluewave Pure bay. I recommended it above and for the money don't think it can be beat. If the price on a 24' is to much go down to the 22' but believe me you will wish you had the 24 in a few years. I thought when I first bought my 22 that it would be big enough but I was wrong. That extra 2' makes a HUGE difference. And as been mentioned don't hesitate to buy a well maintained used boat. Just my opinion. Good luck with you decision.

Sea Fox Sea Hunt or Nautic Star CC boats

I would pick a blazer or a blue wave purbay over any of the originally mentioned boats by the way I have a 24ft triton lts which has been a great boat for me as well. |

24' pure bay or the pathfinder HPS. I have a blazer and love it but they have not improved the boat at all over the years.
