OUTSTANDING OPENING WEEK HERE AT THE LODGEThe first week of this year’s duck season was super. Our hunters harvested almost 1500 of the fast flying water fowl in the first 8 days. Hunting blinds in all three of our marshes each of our guides and their hunters averaged almost 15 ducks per blind per day. That is just a super number and makes for a lot of happy hunters. We are expecting some new birds to show up with a front coming through tomorrow. There is a good reason hunters come from ALL OVER the United States to hunt ducks here in southwest Louisiana.
