Default The one that didn't get away

Went fishing with my 10 yr old about 4 weeks ago, and after a 18 minute fight, whatever he had popped 30 lb test braid.

This one didn't get away !!

I LOVE IT!! love seeing the kids catch BIG fish. My pops use to take me out when I was that age and we would catch Cut Throat Trout so big I could hardly hold them up!

Want to hear a funny one........

I went to get the truck / trailer, my son stayed in the boat at the ramp. Some guy told him that it was not a Bull Red......that it was a Buffalo.
Not sure if he was serious or joking.

Lol. Not really.

He's actually quite an athlete. Plays football and baseball. In baseball he's a pitcher. Throws a 50mph fast ball. At 10 yr old.

Well damn. Send him to Tony robicheauxs baseball camp this summer. Could really show him some good stuff. Tony's a great pitching coach

Are fish that size good eating? I understand those are trophy size fish and good for picture and bragging. We usually take pictures and release b/c those are breeding stock.
