Default Field and stream store opening in lafayette
What's the update on this store. The one in lafayette will be opening next weekend. Is it sticky a fishing equipment store or what? Who's been in one give us an update

My stepdaughter is working there. She said it is a mix of hunting/fishing/general outdoors. Sounded like an academy minus the exercise/golf/ball sports and workout wear...which is sold by ****'s....who owns F&S.

edit for the ****.....which is sold by D**k's ...

It's open now . I went yesterday and it's awesome.Hunting/fishing great selection in both plus clothes and shoes & boots and whole lot of camping gear.

Cool... must be a soft opening cause their sign says April 1st. Might have to go saturday and check it out before the grand opening rush.

Went Wednesday. Grand Opening is April 1-3. Going to be crazy. Nice store with a big selection of items. Went in looking for a specific turkey call and ended up spending quite some time looking in the archery section and fishing. Went back with husband that evening. Has archery range in there too so you can try out the bow before buying.
